Information stored during
prociency testing
The following information is stored for every prociency
test:
n Test result
n Sample ID
n Lot number of the test strips
n Time and date of test
n Comments (if applicable)
n Operator ID (if congured)
For blood glucose prociency tests, the sample ID
(instead of patient ID) must be stored as identication.
Sample IDs with up to 20 characters can be entered.
Preparing a prociency test
To perform a prociency test you need the following:
n At least one code le for test strips must be stored
in the meter and match the lot number of the test
strips used (see Chapter 6).
n The proper test strips must be available.
n An operator ID must be entered (with password, if
applicable), if the meter is congured for login.
