What is changing?

Roche ACCU-CHEK® meters will be the meters used by all

Health Authorities in British Columbia by March 31,

2013.

• The larger VIHA user sites (Acute Care e.g. CRH, St. Joseph’s,

TGH, WCGH, NRGH, CDH, SPH, VGH & RJH etc.) will use the

Roche Accu-Chek Inform II meter (can be connected to VIHA

network for data transfer)

• The smaller VIHA user areas (Residential Care etc.) will use the

Roche Accu-Chek Performa meter (no connectivity for data

transfer)

• Both meters use Accu-Chek Inform II test strips
